Synopsis
A pre-apocalyptic pastel daydream. We aren’t relaxed, we aren’t carefree, we’re pathologically unable to care.

Clara Winter, Miguel Ferráez
Clara Winter was born in Leipzig in 1989 during the peaceful revolution. Juggling between theatre and arts, she began studying in the Kassel Artschool in 2009 where she eventually pursued video art. While obtaining her Masters in Fine arts, she studied as well in the Ecole Superieure des Beaux Arts in Toulouse and the Luka Art School in Brussels, as well as doing an internship in Galería OMR in Mexico City as part of the Cussanuswerk scholarship programme. Since 2014 she has been working with the multifunctional Miguel Ferráez who can be counted as western thinking person, regardless of his third-world upbringing.

Born in Mexico City in 1989, Ferraez studied film in UAMN and later received the Grupo Santander / Fundación Carolina grant for studying a master in screenwriting in the University of Navarre in Spain. Together as a two-man production crew and non based artists they are fertilizing each other’s thoughts on both individual and common projects. Their work reflects on political and social aspects of the western world by creating situations and using fictionalised reenactments to perform statements into the piece. Despite their geographical and political contexts which differ greatly, they find a common place in their midlle-class background and their wish to use the medium of art to just make something good.
