Synopsis
With only three Sones in his repertoire, the trio of huapangueros trio of 7 year old Rafaelito, must face his first obstacle in his short career, enliven a wake in a community of Huaxteca potosina.

José Porfirio Lomas Hervert
José L. Herbert was born in San Luis Potosí in 1981, when he was 9 years old, he emigrated to the United States with his parents. He resided in several states such as Minnesota, Arizona and Texas. In this last state, is where he had most of his academic training, in 2008 he managed to get a degree in Plastic Arts from the University of Texas. His university thesis was based on urban abandonment, creating an installation of short films and dead spaces. In 2010 he moved to Mexico City to be part of the Institute of Artistic and Actoral Training of Luis Felipe Tovar. There he remained as a script master for 9 months. In 2011 he formed the production company Bisonte Rojo,
which premiered it with his production and screenplay for his debut film Potosí, a film awarded with the Cruz de Plata at the GIFF 2013 (Best First Mexican Opera) and selected to more than 10 international festivals - Abu Dhabi, LA Havana, Tallinn Black Nights, LALIFF, FICH. In the ARIELES 2014, Potosí received 3 nominations including best actress. Winner of best screenplay with Potosí at FICH 2014. In 2015 he received the support of the PBS television station to make a documentary short film about the LGBT community in El Paso, TX. The documentary entitled Gerardo, was on the air during September - October 2015. Winning the support of the 2nd short film contest of IMCINE northeast region 2016.
